Shannon Sharrock Attorney

I’m a trial lawyer, former insurance defense attorney, and advocate for people who have been injured by others’ wrongdoing. I am a former active duty Army aviation officer who sustained a service-connected injury and so understand to some small degree what it means to live with incapacitating pain. Behind every claim for personal injury is a flesh-and-blood person, and it is my job to convey your worth as a person whose life has been upended through no fault of your own.

While I have a tendency toward idealism, in law and in the valuation of your claims, I will approach your case as a realist. I will be upfront with you about both the prospects for and the reasonable range of recovery on your claims. I will listen to you and will work to get to know you as you were before your injuries and now as you work to recover and rebuild your life. For me, you are not a claim number or a file number but someone who is entitled to compassionate, effective counsel to help make you whole again.

I view the attorney-client relationship as a partnership, which requires both sides to cooperate, exchange information, and engage in open and frequent communication. It is critical that you and I are on the same page regarding expectations for recovery. A meaningful and productive attorney-client relationship is built on trust, and that starts from the moment we first discuss your case.

Above all, I want to be your champion, and I am honored to have the chance to tell your story.

Personal

I live in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband, my kids, and a menagerie of pets. When I’m not in the office, I am volunteering with my girls’ Scouting troop, writing children’s literature, and working to keep a balanced work-home life as a mom and wife. I enjoy cooking and baking, crafting, and any outdoor activity that does not require too much grace or coordination.
